Informasi Kekhususan Program Keahlian Asisten Teknik Laboratorium Medik

Asisten teknik laboratorium medik berperan dalam membantu dokter untuk mengidentifikasi jenis  penyakit dan menentukan langkah perawatan yang tepat.

Jurusan ini mempersiapkan lulusan untuk melakukan pemeriksaan, petetapan, pengukuran, serta pengujian terhadap bahan (cairan dan jaringan tubuh) dengan tujuan untuk menentukan jenis dan penyebab penyakit.

Program Keahlian Asisten Teknik Laboratorium Medik membekali peserta didik dengan capaian pembelajaran yang meliputi :

  1. Proses bisnis layanan laboratorium medik
  2. Profil healthpreneur, job profile, dan peluang usaha/bekerja di bidang layanan laboratorium medik
  3. Teknik dasar laboratorium medik
  4. Perkembangan teknologi dan isu-isu global di bidang layanan laboratorium medik
  5. Peralatan laboratorium medik
  6. Bahan kerja di laboratorium medik
  7. Penanganan sampel di laboratorium medik
  8. Pengelolaan pasien
  9. Pra analitik laboratorium
  10. Pengelolaan dan distribusi sampel
  11. Limbah infeksius
  12. Logistik Laboratorium

Konsentrasi Keahlian Asisten Teknik Laboratorium Medik juga membekali peserta didik dengan ketrampilan yang meliputi : Menganalisis  konsep pra analitik pada pemeriksaan hematologi, Menganalisis darah dan komponennya, Menganalisis reaksi tranfusi darah, Mengevaluasi hasil pemeriksaan darah pada proses transfusi darah, Menganalisis makroskopis dan mikroskopis urine dan faeces, Menganalisis kimiawi urine dan faeces, Menganalisis Glukosa Darah, Mengevaluasi hasil pemeriksaan kimia klinik, Menganalisis morfologi bakteri, Menganalisis pembuatan media padat, semi solid, dan cair,  Menganalisis pemeriksaan bakteri dalam air, makanan dan minuman.

Konsentrasi Keahlian Asisten Teknik Laboratorium Medik SMK Assa’adah merupakan jurusan yang telah menjalin kerjasama dengan industri dan dunia kerja  dalam melaksanakan Praktek Kerja Lapangan (Magang)/ Prakerin (Praktek Kerja Industri) seperti BBLK Surabaya, Rumah sakit dan Puskesmas.

Potensi lulusan untuk mengisi jabatan pekerjaan/okupasi Program Keahlian Asisten Teknik Laboratorium Medik

Kompetensi lulusan Program Keahlian Asisten Teknik Laboratorium Medik

  1. Mampu melakukan pemeriksaan laboratorium
  2. Dapat menangani bahan dan reagen laboratorium
  3. Dapat memelihara peralatan laboratorium
  4. Dapat menganalisa data hasil pemeriksaan
  5. Mampu melakukan tranfusi darah

Lulusan Konsentrasi ATLM dapat bekerja di laboratorium rumah sakit pemerintah maupun swasta, laboratorium klinik, balai laboratorium kesehatan, laboratorium forensik sebagai tenaga medis laboratorium, koordinator laboratorium, Quality control di perusahaan makanan dan minuman atau di BPOM, asisten peneliti, penyuluh kesehatan masyarakat, Flebotomis (tenaga medis yang memiliki ijin untuk pengambilan darah/sampling), operator PCR untuk pemeriksaan covid,  mereka bisa berkecimpung di bidang penjualan produk kesehatan sebagai sales marketing dan product application untuk alat pemeriksaan kesehatan, Mereka juga bisa bekerja sebagai penanggung jawab teknis dalam pelayanan laboratorium kesehatan.
